I believe it buddy, if I'm not mistaken that looks like the road past Mogollon, nearing Sandy Point? Or am I off? I've taken a jeep route that went from Glenwood>Mogollon>Snow Lake, then we backpacked down the Middle Fork to the Visitor Center about 30 miles southeast. It kinda looked like the path in your images.
The route you speak of was part of the "Mogollon & Cooney's Tomb" pictured below. As you would know, the beauty and solitude of the area is nothing short of spectacular.
